Saturday, October 26th dawned with a shiver, as if the very air held its breath. The castle grounds, once echoing with the clang of knights’ armor, now hosted a motley crew of ghouls, goblins, and otherworldly beings. They emerged from the mist, their footsteps silent on the dew-kissed grass.
For our mini VIP’s the fun begins upon arrival when each child receives our special Kids Welcome Pack. We offer a range of seasonal activities – be it game, set and match on our Tennis Courts, a slam dunk on our Basketball Court or a dip in our Indoor Swimming Pool. You may also wish to visit our magical friends at our Fairy Garden or treat them to a Kids Afternoon Tea.
It’s all treats and no tricks at the fantastic Explorers Kids Club with a fun-filled activity programme designed to entertain and engage children of all ages. With activities including a ghost town scavenger hunt, bonfire nights, ninja training, mystery clue hunt and spooktacular movie nights, there’ll be no shortage of fun for kids of all ages!
While the kids are being entertained, the adults have the opportunity to relax and unwind. Indulge in a romantic dinner at The Brasserie, sneak to our courtyard for a drink, grab a book and find a bench in our stunning Landscape Gardens or simply relax at the Spa.
A brand new family experience has also recently opened up on the grounds of the hotel and it’s proving to be a great hit with all our guests both big and small! Take time out and stroll along the Sandy Bridge Walk where you will find a host of friendly, furry and feathered farm animals at the Paddocks Open Farm. These include alpacas, goats, rabbits, chickens and many more.
In the off-chance you run out of on-site activities, the Radisson Blu Limerick is the ideal base from which to explore the hidden gems and local attractions of Limerick city and the rugged beauty of Co. Clare. Within a short drive from the hotel, guests can marvel at the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher, learn to surf at the world-renowned Lahinch Beach. Alternatively, you and your family may prefer to discover Limerick from the water on a kayaking tour or to taste our local delicacies at the Milk Market.
