When you have a meeting or event in The Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Limerick, it’s important that you keep your brain well fed because when we eat the right food, we can improve the efficiency of our brain. That’s why we believe in creating great tasting, seasonal and nutritionally balanced menus for all our meetings and conferences. Our dedicated Meetings and Events Team can help you customise an exquisite menu for your reception, themed party, gala dinner or any other events you have taking place.

Performance-Boosting Brain Food
Brain Food is at the centre of our unique Experience Meetings concept. We find that when delegates are well fed, they can enhance their ability to concentrate, increase their mental capacity and lower their stress levels. As a result, we serve Brain Food throughout your meeting day, providing you with fresh, locally-sourced nourishment that keep the creative juices flowing. Our Brain Food menus have been developed by nutritional experts and our food supply partners. Our Executive Chef Gerard Costello works with them to create a selection of dishes based on the hottest food trends, incorporating 6 Brain Food principles.

Our 6 Brain Food Principles

  1. Less meat and always a maximum 10% fat content
  2. Lots of fish, whole grain products, fruit and vegetables
  3. Primarily fresh, locally sourced ingredients
  4. Pure ingredients with minimal industrial impact
  5. Natural sweeteners and never more than 10% added sweeteners
  6. A focus on good taste that satisfies the senses
